We had the pleasure to be served by James and Jordan. James arrived on time, and he was very professional. He assessed the damaged, told us how to proceed, and took care of everything immediately. I recently took possession of a new home and on my first night we encountered a sewer bsckup. Omg this was by far the BEST sewer company we have ever used. By far the most knowledgeable professional and very customer service oriented. This review comes from a very satisfied tenant of a rental-property (not the owner of the affected property):After experiencing a sewer blockage which was causing water to accumulate in the basement of the property, our Property Management co. dispatched Duke Sewer Service. Matt, from Duke, telephoned me very promptly after I initiated the dispatch, and arranged to have a service-person attend within 2-hours of the discovery and reporting of the problem. Unfortunately, the service-person scheduled at that time was experiencing injury, resulting in Matt rescheduling for first-thing the next morning. Shortly after ending the conversation with Matt - not more than 10 minutes passed - Matt telephoned anew to ask if it would be alright for him to dispatch an alternate service-person for the originally set appointment. Of course this was a very pleasant surprise, and as promised, the alternate service-person arrived on time (I think he was even a few minutes earlier than expected, actually), completed the necessary services quickly, cleanly, and as quietly as the work allowed for. Gage (the service-person) was exceptionally friendly, talented and experienced, and notably professional.I hope no one has emergencies which require Duke Sewer Service, but if you do have need of professional, effective and efficient plumbing services, especially sewer-related, Duke showed me what top-shelf quality service looks like, and set my standards to a new high, and I have every confidence that your expectations will be exceeded too.... I nearly neglected to indicate that this all occurred outside of normal-business-hours/after-hours! (the icing, as it were)

Have had 2 great interactions with Duke’s in the past 2 weeks. First, had water coming up out of our main drain. It was after hours but someone was at our house quickly to resolve issue. Today, had the same issue (on a stat holiday). Gage was at our house and had the issue resolved VERY quickly and explained that there was more of a blockage further onto the city’s property and offered advice and answered any questions we had. I can't thank Gage with Duke Sewer Service enough! Yesterday, February 21st (Family Day) our sewer backed up into the house, causing major stress and panic to our family. From the time I placed the call to the time the job was complete, was only an hour. Gage was extremely professional and diligent and you can tell he takes great pride in his work! Very happy review ahead! I called Duke Sewer Service at approximately 1:00 pm, as we had some water coming up in our basement and our basement toilet wouldn't flush. They answered promptly and had an available appointment window for 2-:2:30pm the same day! Gage ended up coming early at 1:40 (awesome!), and quickly assessed the situation. We are new homeowners and didn't know a lot of important information about sewer and pipe maintenance, and Gage made sure to answer all of our questions so we knew exactly why he was doing the work he was doing. He cleaned our main stack and resolved our drain problems, and made sure to stick around to explain how we might maintain our sewer/pipe system going forward so that we can avoid costly future problems. Not only did he fix our issues promptly and efficiently, but his visit was also educational - much appreciated by us first time homeowners who are still figuring things out! I will recommend Duke - and Gage specifically - to anyone who might ask in the future!

We had Duke come out to inspect and ultimately end up replacing our sewer line. We had them also replace the water line, install a new sump pit/pump. They came the day they were scheduled and finished on time. The quote they provided was accurate. The guys that came to do all of the work were my kind of guys. They all worked hard, worked well together and took pride in what they do. You can tell a lot about a company by the employees. We have now used them 3 times- all with great results!1. Jordan did a great job clearing our blocked sewer line. He was clean, professional, helpful and efficient! He was on time, answered all my questions and got the job done well. I was extremely happy and will definitely use them again!2. We had to have our entire sewer line under our home jack-hammered, removed and replaced. The guys- James, JJ, Jordan, Nat and Adam- were amazing! It was a huge 3 day job. We were worried we would be without any sewer for a long time. They worked it all out so the sewer was only out for a couple of hours on one day! The technician, Dylan, that was sent my way was super pleasant, down to earth, and easy to get along with. (Did I mention MASSIVE SNOW FALL and dude STILL TOOK HIS BOOTS OFF :) ) AND, he completely fixed the problem while here and didn't complain ONCE. The pricing was absolutely below what I was anticipating paying for such a short notice appointment coupled with a job very well done. Dylan was even able to book me into another super short notice appointment to get some preemptive sewer line cleaning out of the way! Had a surprise backup of the main sewer line at the perfect time: Friday evening 6pm. Did not know what was happening but it smelled worse than death. Called Duke Sewer Service and was put in contact with James. He promptly and professionally evaluated the situation over the phone and gave assurance the problem would be sorted. He arrived on scene on time and provided friendly service. After further diagnosis he identified the problem and fixed it! I gave Duke Sewer a call right before a long weekend as I was having issue with my drainage from tree roots in the system. I was shocked they were able to send out Gage the same day and get things cleared out in no time. We had sewer backing up and James was here in half an hour on a Saturday. After initial inspection, he quickly realized this required immediate action from the city. He got the city to send a crew out immediately as it was their blockage in the manhole. He cleared our sewer line and dealt with the city for us, as it was their problem, not ours. Matt was great to work with — arrived early, great communication, and left everything in the same shape as he found it in. He and his team found a way to do the repair so that it would leave the smallest footprint on the house as possible, and they even fixed a couple of leaks that they found while they were there. It’s usually an unfortunate circumstance that leads to you calling a sewer company, but Duke made the process as painless as possible. I can’t recommend them highly enough. I will never use another company, and I will be telling everyone I know to call them. I didn’t think it was possible to go beyond “above and beyond”, but I think they achieved it!

Ive got some really big trees in my front yard so i constantly have the roots in my lines. Had a bad backup on a friday night called Saturday morning and had an appointment for 4 no problem. Fellow showed up on time spent the next 2 and a half hours fighting with them roots but managed to completely clear the line and even showed me on his camera. Extremely well done and a very sociable fellow indeed. Explained everything so as i could understand him and cleaned up after himself before i could even offer to do so. Definitely be using Duke again and would have no issues suggesting them to others.

I am so grateful for Duke's coming out to solve my plumbing problem!!! As a new homeowner I was terrified to realize that I was having water coming up through a crack in my basement. My home inspector suggested that I get my pipes cleaned out, as there could be a blockage causing this problem. A well known plumbing company in Regina (which I will not name) came out to clear my pipes, though they did not do a satisfactory job so I had to get them to come back a second time to clear out the roots they missed. After their second visit I was still getting water in my basement due to the obstruction in the pipe. I was so frustrated!!! My home inspector suggested Dukes to help solve my problem, and I'm sure glad I did. Matt was quick, friendly and effective. No more water in my basement! I can't thank you enough for helping me solve a problem which this other plumbing company couldn't. I will definitely call you back with all future plumbing needs!!!
